Tennessee State Parks provides a year-round discount to all active duty U.S. military regardless of their branch of service or where they are stationed. Discounts apply to all parks having state-operated inns, cabins, golf courses, gift shops and/or campground facilities. Lodging and campground discounts range from 25% to 50%. A 20% discount is provided for golf green fees and carts. Some restrictions may apply. Acceptable proof of military duty includes a military ID card or leave papers. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Year-round camping discounts are available to residents and non-residents of Tennessee who are disabled. During in-season, disabled campers will receive a discount of approximately 25% off base rates and during off-season the disability discount will be approximately 50% off base rates. The ADA disability discounts are available upon showing satisfactory proof of eligibility. Rates subject to change without notice.
Tennessee seniors age 62 and older, may receive a 25% discount on all standard camping fees during in-season and a 50% discount on all standard camping fees during off-season, a 10% discount on their stay at a state park inn and a 10% discount on their restaurant meal.
Senior discounts are not available on premium sites. Discounts are not allowed at snack shops, concession stands or at leased dining facilities unless approved by Lessee. Discounts at Tennessee Golf Trail courses vary from park to park. Please check with the golf shop at each park for the current senior discounts. Bear Trace Golf Courses are excluded.

- Full-time state employees with valid state employee ID,
- State University and State Community College Employees with valid ID,
- County and city public school teachers with valid state professional license card,
- Full-time Tennessee National Guard with valid ID, and
- Retired full-time state employees with valid Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System ID.
State employees visiting a state park on official business are not eligible for a lodging discount.

A Tennessee veterans’ discount for camping within our state parks is available during the off-season. The discount is 50% off of our standard nightly base rates depending on the type of site chosen. Premium sites excluded. This camping discount is available to Tennessee residents showing proof of prior military duty.
Veterans Day has been designated as Free State Park Day for Tennessee veterans, including complimentary greens fees and one night of camping. Tennessee State Parks offers this special discount to veterans annually on Veterans Day.
All veteran discounts require a proof of prior military duty. Acceptable ID’s for proof of eligibility include a VA benefits card, retired military ID, or a DD-214. These are in addition to proof of residency which would simply be a TN driver’s license or vehicle registered in Tennessee.
